We are a factory supplier of corrugated metal hoses, with end connections as per customer requirements. We offer a variety of end fitting configurations such as threaded (NPT and BSP Threaded Fittings), Camlock Couplings, Quick Release Couplings, Fixed and Swivel Type Flanges (ANSI, PN, BS welding hose, Japanese standards) and other special items in various materials such as stainless steel, carbon, steel, copper and aluminum.

When Do We Use Stainless Steel Corrugated Metal Hoses?

When pressure is applied, unbraided hose tends to elongate axially. In order to restrain this, an external layer of SS 304 or SS 316 wire braiding is provided. The braid also makes the assembly pressure compatible.

Sometimes two or even three layers of braiding are provided for high pressure applications. The braiding is highly flexible and follows the movement of the hose. The braid is normally manufactured in SS 304 wire. However SS 316 and 321 braids can also be manufactured. We also supply wire braid in different configurations as per customer specifications.

What is a Stainless Steel Corrugated Metal Hose?

Stainless steel corrugated hose core is generally constructed from grade 304 austenitic stainless steel and formed into annular corrugations. The hose is then braided with either single or double braided option, depending on operating pressures. The braid is constructed using closely woven grade 304 stainless wire. Hose and Braid are also manufactured in other grades such as Stainless Steel 321 and Stainless Steel 316.
